The marketplace for everyday help: a platform connecting customers with blue-collar service providers. Django API behind a Next.js web app and a React Native client, PayMongo for payments, Resend for email, deployed on DigitalOcean. Built as academic work and discontinued after the course ended; the code and write-up stay up as a record of the system design.
Problem
Finding a reliable electrician, plumber, or cleaner in the Philippines still runs on word of mouth and Facebook groups. Customers have no way to compare, book, and pay in one place, and providers have no professional presence. iAyos needed a booking flow, payments that work with local rails, notifications, and both a web and a mobile surface on one backend.
